Mini Savory Quiches

Perfect for snacks, brunch, or parties, these cheesy, savory mini quiches are baked in individual foil cups and can be customized with your favorite fillings.

Ingredients

For the Crust (Optional):

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp salt

1/3 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed

2-3 tbsp cold water

For the Filling:

6 large eggs

1 cup milk or heavy cream

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)

1/2 cup cooked bacon bits, ham, or sausage (optional)

1/4 cup diced onion (optional)

1/4 cup chopped bell peppers or spinach (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh herbs (parsley, chives) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust (Optional):

Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Add cold butter and use a pastry cutter or hands to create a crumbly mixture.

Add water one tablespoon at a time until the dough holds together. Roll out thin and cut into circles slightly larger than your foil cups. Line each cup with the dough.

  1. Prepare the Filling:

In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.

Add in shredded cheese and any cooked or raw veggies/meat you’d like.

  1. Assemble:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

If using crust, press it firmly into the cups. Pour the egg mixture into each cup, filling it about 3/4 full.

  1. Bake:

Place the filled cups on a baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the centers are set.

  1. Cool and Serve:

Allow to cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh herbs, and enjoy warm or at room temperature!
